1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Prompt Designer ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Prompt Designer is a mobile application that helps users create, customize, and manage AI prompts and test API/webhook integrations. The App provides:

  • Pre-built prompt templates
  • Custom prompt creation tools
  • User variable storage
  • API and webhook testing capabilities
  • Template saving and management

3. User Accounts and Registration

Prompt Designer does not require user accounts or registration. All data is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any data stored within the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to send spam, malicious code, or harmful content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks
  • Use the App for any illegal or fraudulent purposes

5. User Content and Responsibilities

5.1 Your Content

You retain all rights to the prompts, templates, and content you create using the App. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5.2 API and Webhook Usage

When using the webhook/API testing feature:

  • You are responsible for all API calls and webhook requests made through the App
  • You must have proper authorization to access any external services
  • You are responsible for any costs incurred from external API usage
  • We are not responsible for data sent to or received from third-party services

5.3 Stored Variables

You are solely responsible for the security of API keys, tokens, and other sensitive information stored in the App. We recommend:

  • Using device encryption and secure lock screens
  • Not storing production API keys in the App
  • Regularly rotating sensitive credentials

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its code, design, graphics, and templates, is owned by Adeptimus and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works
  • Sell, rent, lease, or sublicense the App
  • Remove or modify any copyright notices

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services (Branch SDK, Google Analytics, external APIs). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services' availability, accuracy, or content.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

8.1 No Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:

  • The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The App is free of viruses or harmful components
  • Results obtained from the App will be accurate or reliable

8.2 Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ADEPTIMUS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Costs of procurement of substitute services
  • Damages resulting from API usage or external service failures
  • Unauthorized access to your device or data

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP (IF ANY).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Adeptimus, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the App
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Your use of external APIs or webhooks

10. Changes to the App

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time
  • Update features, templates, or functionality
  • Change pricing (for future paid features)

We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes when possible.

11. Updates and Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Updating the "Last Updated" date
  • Posting a notice in the App
  • Displaying on our website

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation
  • Binding arbitration if negotiation fails
  • Small claims court for disputes under applicable thresholds

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Adeptimus regarding the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

17. App Store Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you also agree to their respective terms and conditions. In case of conflict, the app store's terms take precedence regarding your relationship with the app store.
